AEI-English Electric of Bangladesh Limited is a part of the erstwhile GEC Group of Companies in Bangladesh. It was formed as AEI-English Electric of Pakistan Ltd., following the merger of its two parent companies, the then English Electric Company and Associated Electrical Industries with GEC in the UK, in 1967.
