The BBG seeks ways of improving the business environment for British companies that operate in Bangladesh. Many of the challenges faced by British firms are common including issues like: visas, taxes, customs, repatriation of dividends, security, and compliance. The BBG arranges regular meetings, typically quarterly, where we invite key decision makers from the Government, including senior Ministers as well as visiting UK dignitaries, to hear about their vision and plans for trade and investment in Bangladesh. It also provides an opportunity to make them aware of the issues UK firms face in the market. The BBG also participates in trade related seminars and webinars and holds networking events for members.
