I’m very pleased that the British High Commission (BHC) is so closely associated with the British Business Group (BBG). The BBG includes some of the UK’s largest and best-known multinationals as well as some of our most innovative SMEs. What they all share – both big and small – is a vision of the potential of Bangladesh and a commitment to the country’s economic development. British businesses are a vital strand in the close and multi-faceted relationship between our two countries.

The BHC supports British businesses in Bangladesh through the work of the Department of International Trade team, an integral part of the BHC. I very much want the BHC and the BBG to continue working closely together to further our Global Britain agenda, strengthen bilateral trade links, promote UK exports and investment and deliver mutual prosperity.
